Mr. Williard has more than 18 years of experience as a professional energy consultant, with a focus on the development of technical and financial models that are now widely used to assess renewable energy systems and to predict potential energy generation and financial performance, serving as CEO since Sage’s inception.
Principal
Mr. Johnson has 22 years of experience as a Civil-Environmental Engineer, with 11 years in the renewable energy sector. During his time at Sage, he has developed custom financial and energy modeling tools and managed all aspects of renewable generation and storage projects including feasibility studies, system design, project bids and construction, commissioning, asset management, and environmental credits management.

Mr. Williard is a founder and Principal at Sage. He has over 22 years of experience working as a professional environmental consultant, with a focus on energy efficiency and renewable energy generation for the past 14 years. David has managed all aspects of renewable energy projects, from planning and feasibility through implementation and operations for over 70 public and private clients.

Director of Business Development
Mr. Seiler is an electrical engineer with over fifteen years of experience in the energy and solar PV sector, including project feasibility analysis, design, development, installation, and commissioning. At Sage, he manages solar and storage feasibility and planning studies, reviews solar PV design and proposals, and manages contractor selection and installation of energy systems. He is also responsible for developing and supporting strategies focused on driving revenue growth and exploring new markets.
Energy Project Manager
Mr. Emunah is an energy project manager at Sage and a recent graduate of Tufts University, where he studied mechanical engineering, engineering management, and finance. At Sage, he manages project work for clean transportation and renewable energy projects, including financial and technical feasibility studies, project conceptual designs, RFP development, proposal evaluation, and vendor selection, to ensure that our clients achieve their energy project goals.
Director of Asset Management
Ms. Crider has extensive experience maximizing financial performance of distributed generation and small utility-scale solar projects. She leads the asset management of solar and solar+storage systems, ensuring that they perform as expected and provide the greatest possible benefit to Sage’s clients.
Technical Editor and Proposal Manager
Ms. Protteau is an experienced editor with a background in environmental science. As a technical editor at Sage, she edits and formats Sage deliverables, develops and maintains document templates, manages RFP logistics and communications, coordinates conference exhibits, plans and manages special events, and keeps the office running smoothly. She also coordinates Sage’s proposal efforts and works as part of Sage’s business development team.
Senior Data Scientist
Ms. Dawe is a skilled data scientist with experience in energy savings analysis, model development, and energy efficiency. At Sage, she performs energy modeling, financial modeling, field assessments, and geospatial analysis, and also manages certain projects.
Senior Project Manager
Mr. Borger is an experienced renewable energy professional who has worked at every stage of solar, BESS, and microgrid projects. During his tenure in sales, engineering, project management, and asset management he has worked with federal, state, and local governments as well as local and Fortune 500 companies to achieve their energy and environmental goals. At Sage, he focuses on renewable energy and resiliency projects between large energy buyers and providers, using a collaborative approach that results in successful project outcomes.
Senior Energy Engineer
Mr. Satterlee performs energy modeling and data analysis for a variety of Sage projects. He analyzes building systems to find financially compelling energy efficiency measures, evaluates potential project savings based on multiple technical and financial scenarios for feasibility studies, and provides asset management services to ensure that energy projects are operating as expected.
Senior Project Manager, Implementation
Mr. Moore is a licensed electrician with fifteen years of experience in the construction industry, including eleven in the energy and solar PV sector. As a senior project manager, Mr. Moore has implemented numerous PV installations in California, Nevada and Hawaii for various solar EPCs, government agencies, military branches, utilities, school districts, and private clients.
Energy Project Manager
Mr. Roveda manages the construction, commissioning, and closeout phases of renewable energy projects at Sage. He performs site visits, provides construction oversight, and completes third-party commissioning to ensure that systems are built as contracted and fully operational to meet our clients’ energy and financial goals. He also uses his technical expertise during the pre-construction phase of projects, to provide support during design review and specifications development.
Clean Transportation Project Manager
Zachary manages clean transportation projects that include electric vehicle (EV) planning and fleet transition, charging infrastructure design and procurement, grant and incentive support, and owner’s representative services through construction and commissioning.
Energy Project Manager
Ms. Respondek manages renewable energy projects for municipal and other government clients, from feasibility assessment and financial analysis through project closeout, ensuring that our clients achieve their energy, financial, and decarbonization goals.

Senior Consultant
Mr. Jolley has over 15 years of experience as a Civil/Environmental Engineer and has dedicated his career to the advancement of renewable energy and sustainable development. He has held positions in academic R&D, Public Service, and the Private sector. He is an experienced engineer, business developer, strategist, and project/program manager.
Senior Consultant
Ms. Coe joined Sage in January 2018, building on 23 years of experience as an environmental consultant, including 17 years as a senior project manager (PM) and principal investigator (PI). With Sage, Ms. Coe has managed solar energy development projects for municipal and other government agencies. These projects involve unique issues such as multi-organizational teams, special contract requirements, or risk of scope creep.
