CITY OF ONTARIO SOLAR PV

BACKGROUND

Sage was hired as the City’s renewable energy project consultant after being recommended by the City’s legal counsel, Best, Best & Krieger, LLC. After presenting the findings of an investment grade feasibility study to the City Council, Sage worked closely with City staff to develop and manage the RFP and vendor selection process for the project, which included new roofs, solar PV and electric vehicle charging stations. Sage provided key contract negotiation assistance, design review, and applied for and managed the City’s California Solar Initiative incentives, as well as enhanced commissioning and performance management of the completed system.
